Bengal Football announces 2023-24 schedule

The long wait for the 2023 Braswell Bengals football schedule is finally over. The program announced its varsity schedule with senior night pushed to November and a few Thursday night games thrown into the mix.
Braswell has two scrimmages, five home games, four away games and one away game scheduled against the Guyer Wildcats at Denton ISD’s C.H. Collins Stadium in North Denton. Kent Laster’s new team has quite the exciting schedule coming up against some challenging, familiar opponents.
The Bengals open the year by welcoming the North Crowley Panthers to town on Thurs., Aug. 10 in a scrimmage, play an away scrimmage against the Rockwall Yellow Jackets before its premier matchup against V.R. Eaton at Carrico Stadium where it will also host a youth night.
Homecoming for the Bengals is scheduled for Sept. 15 where it will go head to head against the Prosper Rock Hill Blue Hawks, a team the Bengals lost by one point to last season.
The Bengals will be looking to make a comeback in the 2023 season after ending the 2022 season with a 1-6 district record.
