Braswell’s Marching Band Wins First Place at Bands of America Midland

MIDLAND, Texas – The Braswell High School Bwell Marching Band claimed first place at the 2024 Bands of America Regional Competition held in Midland, Texas, scoring an impressive 80.100 on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

In addition to their top overall finish, the Bwell Marching Band was also honored with two prestigious awards: Outstanding Visual Performance and Outstanding General Effect.

The competition, part of the national Bands of America circuit, featured high school marching bands from across the region, making Braswell’s victory even more significant. It also marks Braswell’s second first place finish at the Bands of America Midland contest.
