The CW Presents: Batwoman
Batwoman: T.V. Series
October 2, 2019
Her time… is NOW.
Coming to the CW network by the director of “The Vampire Diaries,” Caroline Dries, costumed crime-fighter Kate Kane, takes over as Gotham City’s hope for protection as the latest superhero of the famous DC universe; Batwoman.
After three long years since Batman’s sudden disappearance, the city of Gotham has become a city-in-despair and is now under the watch of the military-grade leader Jacob Kane, played by Dougray Scott of Hemlock Grove.
Batwoman, who is to be played by Ruby Rose, the famous Australian actress of Pitch Perfect 3, and Orange is the New Black, presents a whole new understanding of what is considered the best version through the unique interpretation of the story.
“Batwoman is kind of like Batman,” Rose stated to the New York Times. “She’s sort of no-nonsense, very stern.”
Kane’s daughter, Kate suddenly decides to take on the role of saving the townsfolk after learning Bruce Wayne has disappeared while defeating her own personal demons. However, to do so, she has to become the one thing her father has loathed more than anything: a Dark-Knight vigilante.
Kate continues the search for her “missing cousin” while also acting as the new savior of Gotham’s society.
“She is also very cheeky,” Rose said about Batwoman, “but she doesn’t speak a ton, and when she does, she uses a lower voice to hide the relevance of her identity.”
The villainous Lewis-Carroll inspired Alice in Wonderland gang, which is led by the sinful villain Alice; also known as Batwoman’s “Joker,” is to be played by Rachel Skarksten of Birds of Prey, where she plays Black Canary. Her main goal is to target the innocent with the unpredictable personality that is a sense of being entirely maniacal using her hypnotical charm.
“It’s not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me,” Rose said.
Batwoman is set to air October 6th to audiences and fans of the DC Universe.
Everything becomes impossible until somebody deals with the darkness.
