Local Halloween Events

With Halloween right around the corner and the autumn weather slowly starting to shine through, it is the perfect time to attend a fall event in the area and to enjoy this season to the fullest extent.
From October 24-26th there will be tours of the Perry Museum in Carrollton. This home was originally built in 1857 by one of the early pioneers of homesteads, A.W. Perry. The home was later completed by his son in 1909 using the same materials that were used 50 years prior. This would be a great chance to get a glimpse of life in North Texas during the 1800s and an even greater chance to get spooked.
On October 26th in Little Elm, there will be an opportunity to go and trick or treat right off of Lake Lewisville. This is perfect if you have younger siblings and you want to take them out before Halloween day for some candy-filled fun.
Also occurring on October 26th, Denton is having its very own Day of the Dead festival on the square. There will be face painting, candy, food, music, dancing, and a whole lot of fun just waiting to be had.
October 27th will come a chance to go to Frisco Square for trick or treating. With a plethora of shops and places to eat right in that area, it’s sure to be a fun time.
Trunk or Treat will be held on October 31st at the CrossRidge Church in Little Elm. This is a great event to recommend to younger siblings, cousins, and friends alike.
On October 31st at the North Texas Fair and Rodeo in Denton, there will be a Halloween festival with food, music, a costume contest, a drag show, and plenty of vendors to keep attendees occupied. If you don’t have plans for Halloween day yet, this would be an excellent option for something to do.
These are just a few of the many Halloween/Fall events happening in the area within the next week. If all else fails, there’s always trick or treating, or having a Halloween get together with a few close friends and family members.
