Denton ISD announced Wednesday that all Denton ISD campuses would close Thurs. Feb. 24 due to Inclement Weather.

All after school activities scheduled for Wed., Feb. 23 have also been cancelled.

A winter storm approached the North Texas area earlier this morning and brought many delays while traveling to school. There was ice on bridges this morning as a result. Students and staff made their way into school driving cautiously as policed moved bridges down to one lane.

The weather is expected to worsen as we go throughout the day today.

A winter storm warning issued by the National Weather Service is in effect for Denton County from 6am Wed. Feb. 23 until 6pm Thurs. Feb. 24.
