Hi, I'm Abilene Raines, I am a senior this year and I am a news reporter for The Bengal Beat. I hold a spot on the school's varsity tennis team. Tennis is a big part of my life especially because of the fact that I have been playing it since I was six years old. I am an AP student who is involved in both the National Honor Society and French National Honor Society, along with the French Club, in which I am the Historian/Social Media chair. I am a big reader, I tend to easily get lost in the fictional world because it is an escape from the troubles of the real one. One of my other passions is photography, I take pictures on my Nikon camera for the tennis team to put in our end-of-year slideshow, and I also take pictures of nature and my siblings just for fun. After high school, I plan to go on to college and pursue a degree in occupational therapy.
