Braswell High School is partnering with Drivers Test Now to offer an on-campus driver education program for students. The course will be coordinated by English IV teacher Michael Wetchensky and held in classroom A106.
Classes will run Monday through Thursday from 5–8 p.m. over a two-week period. As part of the program, students will have the opportunity to complete their permit testing during the course.
Behind-the-wheel driving lessons will take place at the Frisco location at 4645 Wyndham Lane, Suite 120. The cost for the program is $469, which includes both in-class instruction and driving lessons at a discounted rate for Braswell students.
Drivers Test Now is a third-party testing site and can also administer the DPS road test once all requirements are met. Students must hold their permit for at least six months and be 16 years old before they are eligible to test for their driver’s license.
Space in the class is limited, and students are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. Sign up for the Oak Point In-person teen drivers ed classes at Braswell High School at https://oakpoint.driverstestnow.com/teen-drivers-ed-in-person-classes/
