Benjamin Monday is a reporter for Ray Braswell High School. He joined the broadcast staff as a senior after being recruited by adviser Daniel Carr to cover sports for the school.

Monday’s strengths include writing, reading, interviewing and shooting. Although new to broadcasting, he gained experience through a summer camp dedicated to the field.

Outside the newsroom, Monday competes on the varsity track team and serves as president of I Am School, where he has sharpened his leadership skills.

He aspires to become a sports analyst and work for ESPN.
