Lily McNamara is a 9th grader who has just started her first year on the newspaper as a writer. Lily decided to join the Bengal Beat newspaper for a chance to test the waters of her dream job, and gain experience in writing. One of the things she likes to do most is write stories and really like taking pictures even though she isn’t that good at it. She is involved in theater, she enjoys being backstage with props and costumes, while helping actors practice and memorize lines. Some other things you may see Lily doing around the school are reading, writing, or drawing on a random piece of paper. Outside of school, she likes to listen to various types of music and play video games. Something that isn’t too well known about her is that she doesn’t take many chances. Lily is super interested in learning about various different types of cultures, religion, and traditions. She finds things like that fascinating and is always willing to learn more about different people and countries.
